Job Description

Columbus Evangelical Church is currently hiring for a paid part-time ministry internship. The internship will emphasize experiences in youth ministry and online church. This internship is designed to provide valuable ministry experience and training that will equip the intern to serve in vocational ministry.

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION – This internship will include experience and training in the the following areas:
– Weekly training experience with pastors
– Working with Middle School and High School Youth
– Teaching and preaching
– Officiating special services and events (weddings, funerals, etc.)
– Pastoral care and visitation
– Digital church ministries
– Administrative operations and church leadership
– Discipleship and small groups

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
– Part time (20 hours per week)
– Paid salary of $1000 per month

Because this position is part-time we are expecting the intern to be bivocational either working locally or enrolled as a ministry student

Qualifications

Someone applying for this position will meet the following criteria:
– An evident passion for pursuing vocational ministry
– Experience leading a Bible study or other ministry
– Ability to communicate well in a public setting
– Ability to coordinate and organize events and activities
– Willingness to work in collaborative teams
